"Driving north on 15 approaching Cajon Pass my transmission began acting up. It wouldn't shift into the highest gear so I had to slow to keep the RPM's from getting too high. Then an accident occurred that shut down all 4 lanes of the freeway. We crept along for about an hour. During this time my wife called every transmission shop in Victorville, another 20 miles away. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and nobody could see us. Finally we tried Valley Transmission. They were a couple hours from closing and were busy, but when we explained our situation they said they couldn't leave anyone stuck and told us to bring the car in. They ran diagnostics and made repairs, staying past closing time. While we waited with our dog in the Air conditioned office Robert and Eddie kept us entertained. They are truly decent and caring people in addition to being outstanding mechanics. What could have been a nightmare turned out to be a pleasant encounter. I can't recommend then highly enough."
